Module Outline

Equity & Trusts 2 will build on Equity and Trust 1 and consider trusts in contemporary settings. Specifically, students will study resulting trusts, common intention constructive trusts of a shared home, public purpose trusts (charities) and equitable remedies.

Equity & Trusts 2 will build on Equity and Trust 1 and consider trusts in contemporary settings. Specifically, students will study resulting trusts, common intention constructive trusts of a shared home, public purpose trusts (charities) and equitable remedies.

Module learning outcomes

Systematically understand how equitable principles work to construct/imply a trust.

Deploy appropriate sources of law to develop arguments in relation to given tasks.

Convey relevant legal principles in the interpretation and solving of factual and hypothetical problem scenarios.
