Module Outline
Corruption can look and feel different in different places. This module will be taught by a range of faculty members and will unpack the shape and form that corrupt practice takes across a range of countries. It will look at countries in Europe and indeed beyond.
The aim is to outline both the similarities and differences in corrupt practice across national borders. It aims to help students draw lessons about not just what works in terms of fighting corruption, but why it works. It also aims to highlight how understanding context is vital to coming up with potentially impactful anti-corruption practice

Demonstrate a systematic understanding and critical awareness of how territory can impact corruption practice.
Critically assess the attempts that a range of countries have made in trying to deal with corruption challenge.
Integrate theories, concepts and approaches to help evaluate the success of attempts to tackle corruption across space.
