Module Outline
This module examines gender, crime and justice across a range of topics such as intimate violence, sex work, the night-time economy, street crime, crimes of the powerful, policing, the courts and forms of punishment. It includes all gendered identities and establishes why and how gender is significant to various aspects of crime and justice. It engages with contemporary debates within feminist criminology about whether and to what extent criminal justice approaches should be used as a means to achieve gendered justice.
