Module Outline
Following on from Further Mathematics A, this module continues to develop the essential elements of mathematics, concentrating on the fundamentals of algebra, calculus and geometry.
The module is broadly equivalent to an A-level Further Mathematics course concentrating on these elements. In addition it introduces students to planar graph theory.
Module learning outcomes
Have an understanding of Linear Algebra, Geometry and Calculus.
Analyse and study functions using a range of mathematical methods.
Solve basic first and second order differential equations.
Solve appropriate mathematical problems under time constraints.
