Module Outline
This module provides an insight into the law and practice of business organisations including their formation and management. We will consider all forms of business entity and the practical implications of such entities entering into binding contracts, the issue of liabilities and the protection conferred on management, investors and other stakeholders. This module offers an academically stimulating orientation toward some key aspects of Business Law and Practice element of SQE I for those students who intend to qualify as a solicitor. MCQ forms part of the assessment for this module in line with the SQE

Demonstrate critical awareness of the management of a business and company decision making to ensure compliance with statutory and other legal requirements.
Comprehensive understanding of the interests, rights, obligations and powers of stakeholders in a business.
